i'm sorry im totally clueless about food and all but apparently potatoes are high in carbohydrates so theyre gonna retain water? but they're also high in potassium which when you have 4:1 potassium to sodium ratio you're less bloated? so i'm just confused on whether it's good to eat them or not

yes, potatoes, pasta, rice, bread, carbs in general

carbs don’t matter only potassium matters

Carbs hold water so do low carb high protein or no carb at all
Carnivore is best. Super healthy and no bloat at all

Potatoes have potassium. They debloat you considering the average person's extremely high sodium consumption.

If you eat Nose to Tail carnivore you will get every nutrient

Eat the whole animal.

Meat, organs is all you need
“muh carnivore no vit c”
Eat beef liver. That gives vit c. U can get every nutrient aslong as you eat the whole animal.
We didnt used to just eat one small part of the animal like a silly steak like we do now

ive been avoiding potatoes in my meals but that could have very well been a mistake

i think it's gluten that bloats, making pasta and bread bad in this list.
but from what ive been reading and trying, potatoes and white rice for example are fine as they dont contain gluten.
ive been following what this guy was saying and he was always going low/no carb but then realised it has nothing to do with the carbohydrate itself aparently, but to do with gluten

well im tryna see, I think it to be true. i was the same as this guy on low/zero carbs for zero bloats, but it lowers thyroid function, decreases t, increases cortisol etc.
I'm trying with potatoes rn and it didn't make a difference to me facially I think. obviously after a burger or pizza id be bloated but thats cos the burger bun and pizza have gluten and a fuck tone sodium etc.

gluten eliminates a fair few common carb sources like bread. pasta. cereals. biscuits. which is why people may associalte carbs w bloat

Makes sense, after I eat any kind of beans that is a strong carb source I do not get bloated, and is gluten free, if you think about it, vegans who choose a gluten free diet are always extremely debloated
