big cities are fucking overpriced. in fact, in some overpriced cities like san francisco, the median individual salary is $116k / year

Exactly even with these wages it sounds a lot to most people and tbh it is a lot in global terms even by first world standards like UK or Australia. Unless you're in London or Sydney.

America is in a league of its own. If I were you I'd just save and leave (with aim to retire) or move to somewhere like Alabama JFL.

And then 60 years of looking after your aging and declining health with that money you make.

The modern setup of life is so unintuitive and retarded. I don't know why people don't just go all out in their teens/20s, while they still are in a fresh body/prototype, and then just end it. There's logically nothing to live for in a sick aging husk
