Does eye color change with age

Almost my entire family has had dark eyes at one point of their lives. I say one point because my Materal Grandparents are both in their 60s and now have light brown eyes for some reason. My mom's eyes are turning light brown too and so are my dad's.
I got nerfed because my baloch mogger grandfather (paternal) had green eyes but my grandmother had darker ones

no i think it's only with regard to dark brown eyes
they're heavily melaninated
my grandfather (maternal) now has light brown eyes that look like amber eyes

damn kinda similiar case with my grandparents too
i think with age the melanin amount decreases in eyes
