Me personally because I have acne I shave any hair mustache/beard that appears

Because these hairs ruin my misc and give me a homeless type appearance
Plus im too young for a grown beard

Bro, I think it really depends, it can work for some guys and for some no. I try to always use a stubble or a heavy stubble and try to keep it between 3mm and 4mm always. For some guys who are recessed and have bad facial features in general I think beard can be a life safer for them. Having a beard in general just works very well, I am not recessed but I just like and feel comfortable with a beard on, especially if you want to look a bit older.

Always clean shave but beard can hide recession and goatee can fit well if you have the genetics
