When skinny fat I feel more prone to sickness and just less pleasant to be in my body.

When your skinny fat it means you have no muscle. Train at the gym (or do calisthenics) and eat lots of protein.

Being skinny ripped is worse than being skinny fat because if your body fat percentage is too low, your sex drive will be much lower.

The cure to the skinny fat physique isn't leanmaxxing but gymmaxxing. It is only after gaining at least 20 lbs of real muscle that you can then go on a cut, but the cut isn't what makes you look good, it's the muscle mass.

As for guys like Larsanova who manage to ascend while leanmaxxing, it's because they weren't skinny fat, they were simply overweight. In my case, I have always been skinny fat but never overweight. I mean, my face remains extremely lean all the time and it shows in my pictures when I use the proper angle and lighting, but when people look at my physique they see a small chest and a belly, and that is because I have some fat and no visible muscle mass.

That is because you need at least 1-2 years of proper consistent training (with progressive overload) to look good as a natural lifter, and you need to reach specific strength standards and that is the only way to look like you lift, otherwise, you can spend over 10 years in the gym and have nothing to show for all that effort.

I started lifting in 2016 but at 138 lbs at 6 foot 4, now I am at around 197 lbs at 6 foot 4, and I still look skinny, and my strength level didn't go up by much. This is because my genetics require me to weigh at least around 215 lbs at 15% body fat to look like I lift, because, as a tall guy, my frame is very big so I have to fill it. If you're only 5 foot 8, you can fill your frame quicker because even with a starting point of 140 lbs, in 1 year, you will only reach maybe 160 lbs. In my case, while I gained my weight much quicker, it wasn't muscle, but it was still lean body mass (bone, connective tissue and glycogen) so I didn't get fat, in fact, I look less skinny fat today than in 2016.
And, if I had done things right from the beginning and had remained consistent, I could have gone from 138 lbs to 210 lbs in 1 year, but the problem is that I would have gotten permanent stretch marks, so it's a good thing that it took me longer.

Guys on here think that your muscular potential is determined by your starting point but it really isn't, otherwise I would be freakishly strong at my current weight or I would be fat, but I am neither, I am just slightly stronger and not fatter at all, so my current weight is what should have been my starting point if I had grown the right way, if I had eaten enough as a teenager and if I had done sports. From 2016 to 2020, I was mainly playing catchup. I could still reach around 225 lbs in 2 years and eventually 238 lbs, which means I will be 100 lbs heavier than when I was 18, without being fat. That is the power of gymmaxxing for tall skinny men.
