Does fatmaxxing as a kid=heightmaxxed kid?

I was a fat ass kid (legit bordering morbid obesity) and I height mogged most the other kids, I was always 2nd-4th tallest for my grade up until like sophomore year (funny enough the year i lost weight). All the other tall kids were usually kinda fat too from what I noticed, most def werent as big as me but quite a bit more fatmaxxed than avg. Idk if it's what led me to being extremely subhuman facially but I think it might have helped me height maxx. Is it legit or is this just personal experience?

same i ate a shit ton of food during a growth spurt and im 7 inches taller than my brother

May have a correlation that you're in a caloric surplus, which makes your body has a lot of energy to grow.

I know tons of fat people growing up, and none of them are noticeably tall.

Probably because of their shit diet or just because I live in a country, where 170 cm could be consider above average/ tall
