Probably increases it slightly (to a neglectable extent) because it increases testosterone and lowers DHT... DHT doesn't really have strong muscle building abilities unlike testosterone.

Afaik test is increased only temporary then it gets back to normal levels

Anything to back up this claim

After Finasteride inhibits 5-alpha reductase, a significant amount of conversion of testosterone to DHT that would have otherwise occurred is no longer going to happen, so that testosterone remains present in the body as unaffected testosterone. [...]
As there is now a much greater portion of testosterone that the body cannot convert into DHT, serum testosterone levels are raised indirectly simply due to the fact that the testosterone has nowhere to go because 5-alpha reductase is inhibited from completing the job it normally does.

Within 24 hours of oral dosing 1 milligram of Finasteride, serum DHT concentrations in the body are suppressed by 65%, and mean circulating levels of testosterone and estradiol increase by approximately 15%"

Afaik testosterone production doesn't downregulate after some time, unless it's from old age (correct me if I'm wrong).

Dht might be better for muscle building than Testosterone
You overestimate what
testosterone can do in the natty range

Dht has more of an effect on the overall neurology (mind muscle connection, etc) than it has an anabolic effect.
I might have oversimplified the situation in my previous answer because I didn't take shbg or psychological/neurological aspects into account.

I doubt finasteride will have a huge impact on your physique overall though, given that your endocrine system is in a healthy range.

does it give weaker erection as many claim?

Possibly. Depends on your hormone profile and if your (less androgenic) testosterone can sufficiently fullfil the role DHT would have otherwise. DHT won't be completely gone from your body, but it's serum concentration will be reduced by about 70%.

it increases estriadol
but not by much
Any positives or negatives of estradiol other than slightly building bitch tits?

No.

a 15% increase in T is essentially worthless.

Unless you are doubling or tripling your T levels, you aren’t going tohave any noticeable difference

According to a dermatologist (The Hair Loss Show on yt), it's very unlikely.
OK so it's worth taking it for me

Go for 1mg 3 times a week, if you experience any side (low libido, ED, mood swings), switch to 0.5mg 3 times a week.

If sides still occur, you'd be better off Fin. However, be careful about the nocebo effect. In a study, there were people who developed Fin sides even though they were given a placebo.

Ive read that The effects are temporary and reversible, also would me having a shit ton of dht make those side effects less likely to happen?

There are 2 ways people get Finasteride sides : the 1st is the most common, which is sides in the first weeks, and the second way is after several months.

For the 1st group, sides can vanish quite fast, for the second one, because of the accumulation, sides remain longer but will eventually wear off.

I don't know about the last question, never looked it up.

Definitely. Minoxidil will increase the number of hairs and keep them longer, while Finasteride will mainly stop the shedding for good, and also cause a regrowth for some people (after about a year of use to see proper results)

I'm afraid that fin will not make my voice get deeper and stop bones growth, I'm almost 20

You're almost finished anyway. You can wait a year or two and use minox meanwhile, if you want to feel comfortable, but if I was you I'd give it a try.

I started balding at 17yo, and started Fin at 22.

What about nizoral shampoo , I heard it's one of the best hair loss cures, and maybe no side effects

Nizoral also blocks DHT, but is much weaker than Fin. It's a nice addition to have, I used it for seborrhoeic dermatitis.

I've heard some people say it dries their hair though.

Check this video, pretty interesting. Most commercial shampoo for hair loss are virtually ineffective. Just get Head and Shoulders, or Nizoral for extra DHT blocking.
