does fixing an overbite correlate to fixing recession?

since i have an overjet, my chin is recessed. i’m getting it fixed so when it is fixed will my chin be more prominent and less recessed?

no. your lower jaw will come forward yes, but your chin won't move also rep my post

so i’m allitle confused. if the jaw is forward wouldn’t it look normal from then on?

yes, it can, but mandible and chin rescission can be 2 different things

that’s good. along with invisalign, i’m getting a palate expander. will the expander along with my upper jaw get wider as well or very minimal result. my face is quite narrow so
