Does forsus appliance increase chin height if you have an overbite?

I currently have an overbite which could be the reason for my low mandibular plane angle and short chin, I have been experimenting with jutting by simply just putting my teeth together and it increases my chin height by like 1.5X and my lower third completely transforms. So I am wondering if the forsus appliance would have the same affect as it is bringing the lower jaw forward to align with the upper teeth.

already do, looking for a more permanent solution, I'm getting forsus soon, hoping it fixes.

Never got it, anyways im convinced it doesnt work unless youre mid puberty like 12 or 13 after that its too late

Still have it, i just jutt all the time anyways, listen if your overbite is skeletal and your lower jaw is actually further back than your upper jaw, surgery is NEEDED, if your jaw is fine and its just your teeth thats crooked or flared out giving that overbite look then elastics work.
