I was a mouthbreather as a kid. Did the downswing of the maxilla make my cheekbones lower?
What do you think.

there was no 'downswing' as a result of mouth-breathing, most likely your genes are just bad and your parents are equally deformed.

it's usually just cope, lifestyle does affect bones but it doesn't restructure your entire skull.

No. My maxilla did get downswung. I had dust allergies and lived in dusty homes.
Msshoot 1 3

I have a scleral show like robert pattinson when none of my parents have it, because of the mouthbreathing.

tbh all 'mouthbreathers' just have recessed chins, maxilla is mostly genetics

that is so wrong😂 mouthbreathing barley affects the chin, that's a myth. Its mostly affect the midface.

You weren't mouthbreathing because you didn't know how to mew or whatever. You were mouthbreathing because you had shitty airway genetics so you were forced to breathe from your mouth when you were tired.

Oh my days another dumb theory.
I BREATHED FROM MY MOUTH SINCE MY NOSE WAS ALWAYS STUFFED, IF I DIDN'T BREATHE FROM MY MOUTH I WOULD HAVE DIED.

Try to convince copers.

I'm inclined to believe them if it's by a few millimeters, but if your entire face looks like it's melting you just have awful genes.

Yeah it is a few millimeters. My face and chin projection looks fine, it's just my scleral show.

If you actually consider the shape of a “downgrown” maxilla you’ll realise that “proper development” is a gigacope. The zygomatic arch always forms a straight line from the ear to the zygos. Not possible for this to change like it would if the maxilla just dropped down.

Yeah I figured this out too. The cheekbones prob got lower set with the maxilla but not the ear
