I get that the main part of loosing weight is being in a calorie deficit but does being in the gym make it easier for you to lose weight faster?

Is cardio the main point you should focus on if you want to lose weight or should you focus on strength training?

I'm always hungry asf after gym sesh

It's just as good as going for a run but you getting some muscle seems worthwhile but not really better than deficit

or general energy expenditure, like a run as I said

I be seeing fat white women doing ab curls in the gym  I know they are not aware of these simple fundamentals

But I guess it’s not necessary to do gym to get leaner? Should you just focus on calorie deficit?

its not a requirement to go to the gym to get leaner, it just makes it a LOT easier

Things such as lifting or any other exercise in the gym can aid with weight loss in the long run, to oversimplify for you, heavy resistance training regulates androgen receptors. Explosive exercises improve receptor sensitivity. More androgenic receptors and sensitivity = better response to hormones, testosterone etc, meaning you might not understand or feel it but someone who is more androgenic is prone to lose weight faster and efficiently, even tho it can come down to epigenetics at the end

gym increase hunger so no you’ll probably gain more if anything.

running the same

walking is good cos u burn cals and don’t increase hunger.

but to drop weight, just eat less - or use dnp and drop 1lbs fat a day.

“Does drinking water keep you hydrated?”
:feelsuhh:

100%. Weight lifting just does something where you burn calories at a super fast rate and not just in the gym. The body needs to repair and do all this stuff and it helps you burn more calories around the clock, and not to mention the effect it has on hormones. The right hormones make you lose fat more and faster and put your food more towards muscles as opposed to fat or chitting it out
