Androgens darken the hair a bit but more time outside means more sun bleaching

i’ve actually experienced more lightening

especially during summer some of my brown hair turns totally dirty blonde because of the sun

This typically only happens with "genetically impure" people (not fully one ethnicity/not fully white)

I had bleach blonde hair up to the age of 2
my grandmothers nickname for me was blondie

there are some theories that medications, air pollutions etc darken hair color and eye color but i’ve looked into this and it’s a psyop for grifters to sell you lightening courses and diets. Some of them try to lie and say you can even change your eye color.

lots of animals in nature follow the same patterns

lion cubs are born with blue eyes that turn brown and blonde manes that turns into brown hair…it’s probably a mechanism to make offspring look more vulnerable and cute in order for their mothers and community to protect them more (to get more dopamine like when you look at kitten pictures) in order for the adults to protect them and increase their chances of survival (evolutionary advantage)
