Does hair legit lighten in the sun?

If so this is probbaly just as astractive as a tan but for the hair.

Yeah, my hair is brown in direct light.

I guess it isn't really black-black like Asians or Indians for example, but I just say black since it sounds better than dark brown imo.

When I was a little kid it was definetly more brown though.

So it’s really dark brown. And looks brown when it gets in the sun. Doesnt it only change the ends or roots

It's the same color as my eyebrows.

i think it depends on hair colour
if your hair is naturally lighter i'd assume it helps but if its pretty dark it probably doesn't help as much
