Yes, depends on craniofacial features more than face shape though, for flat occiput you want a mullet or a burst fade with a blowout to add length to the back of your skull for example, or if you have a big forehead you should get a fringe to cover it, if your skull is narrow don't get a fade because you will look even more boneless and if you have a wide face you should fade the sides so you don't look extremely wide faced, depends on each case tbh there's not a one size fits all when it comes to haircuts
