Does straining hard during bowel movements can somehow accelerate bone growth. The bones-respond-to-pressure part is true. The Valsalva-raises-IAP part is true. The leap that connects bathroom straining to osteogenesis is where it goes off the rails, but by the time you've heard the first two parts, the third part kind of slides in unchallenged. This is actually a really common structure for pseudoscientific claims. Take two or three real mechanisms, connect them loosely, skip a few steps, and arrive at a wild conclusion.
