Height matters more or less depending on the region and the type of women. The more attractive the woman, logically, the higher the standards she'll have.

In the USA or Northern Europe, the bare minimum for online dating or if the woman is anything over a 6/10, is that you're 5'11" or taller. Being average height is fine if you're looksmatched or the woman is slightly less attractive.

Luckily the rest of the world cares less, in Southern Europe, most of Asia and Latin America, height matters slightly less, and being average height isn't completely detrimental for your dating prospects.

USA/Northern Europe: +5'11"-6'0" in most contexts, anything under is seen as incrementally less attractive.
Most of the world: +5'7" (although varies a lot depending on the region, in Asia 5'6" is fine, but in the Latin America that's short and the ideal is +5'8")

Again, you also have to factor how attractive the woman is, the more attractive, the higher the standards for height, status, money or your own attractiveness for you to be considered as a partner.
