the nose will get wider and your face will get wider, if it will "look" wider is hard to say. i don't think you should worry about it looking worse afterward though, it won't. a wider nose on a wider face looks better than a narrower nose on a narrower face.

no, incisor chewing will upswing your maxilla, but it will have 0 effect on the lateral width, for that you need palate expansion to achieve
