Does insurance usually let you pick your surgeon for bimax if you have sleep apnea? (USA)

I asked a similar question before but I wanted to rephrase. I’m in the US and I’m like 80% sure I have sleep apnea (I’m also recessed). I’m going to see a specialist and will prolly end up getting diagnosed with sleep apnea. If I end up needing bimax is it likely insurance will allow me to pick my surgeon? I’m aware no one can give me a definitive answer but I’m more so just looking for personal stories of your journeys getting approved/denied by insurance for bimax. Lmk

fuck no. and even if you did get to choose, your choices are a bunch of random local oral surgeons who get paid by insurance companies to fix sleep apnea.

You will likely need a minmum AHI of 15 and it will need to be with a polysomnography. I live in NZ and my jew insurance company doesn't cover for bimax even though I have sleep apnea since I was born with the condition (genetic)

You will more likely get assigned to an immigrant, black or LGBT surgeon...
You must pay if you want to choose your surgeon.

Who would be ideal to go to for bimax? (If I could)

All the names I mention are based on what I’ve read in this forum, so keep that in mind. Alfaro in Barcelona is the gold standard, although he is extremely, extremely expensive. Everyone in this forum reveres the Italian bimax surgeons (Pagnoni, Raffiani, Ramieri) and they are much cheaper than Alfaro (still cost your kidneys though). Other names people float are Sailer in Switzerland and Mommaerts in Turkey. Only American surgeon I’ve seen held in high regard here is Gunson in California.

Bang for buck I wouldn’t even know. Ramieri used to be reasonable until this forum raised the demand for his services and he raised prices. I would still say that based off what I’ve seen the Italian surgeons are best bang for buck. If I needed bimax I would go to one of them. Idk if Sailer is expensive compared to the others I mentioned idk his prices, but yes Alfaro is by far the most expensive.

Yeah that's what sucks about this. All them prices will be rocketed up. Especially with all these normies and greycels. Gotta get your surgeries now. Hopefully I start this year.

But yeah I heard Alfaro is like 40k+ and Sailer charges 100k?

Some said this guy paid 150k for Implants + Rhino + Bimax from Sailer. Plus Sailer likes to fraud and Photoshop. Who knew Bimax can change your skin tone and hair color

I’ve heard 50k+ for Alfaro someone even said 70k. But holy who tf is paying 150k for bimax? I didn’t know Sailer charged those prices. No wonder nobody really talks about him that much on here, that’s insane. Also this result does look too frauded, almost makes him look scammy. Should be illegal for aesthetic surgeons to use any photoshop to advertise.

I don't think it's 150k for just Bimax this guy had implants and other stuff. But Sailers prices are up there like 100k for just Bimax + frauding ain't cool especially trying to see actual results

Is that 50k for Alfaro in usd?

Damn, seems that ship has sailed unless I win the lottery
Do you even need bimax bro? Could just need genio which is like 7k

I want both. I’m pretty recessed and was hoping I could get both. Plus my recessed jaw is likely the source of my sleep issues (based on my own research).

best bang for buck is someone south of the US or Turkey probably
