Ive read somewhere in this site that you should only do light exercises
And ive seen on the internet that intense exercise can make you shorter

deadlifts and squats on long term basis can make you a little shorter due to a more compressed spine than you normally would be .

I went to a doctor when I was 15, I asked him if it was okay for me to deadlift and he said it was fine as long as I don't go too heavy (I was lifting my bodyweight - 110lbs)

Nevertheless, over the long term, exercise may optimize your hormone function and decrease body fat, both of which will benefit your HGH levels. Summary Exercise provides a large spike in HGH. High-intensity training is the best form of exercise to increase growth hormone levels.Sep 23, 2019

If you lift extremely heavy weights doing squats, deadlifts, etc. Your spine can compress with time, nothing that you have to worry about, wimp.

Depends

Lifting heavy weights may stunt your growth but playing long sessions of basketball grow you tremendously
