Does intermittent fasting disrupting nutritional absorption?

I'm naturally inclined to eat one time a day cause i have zero appetite for food for most of my day except the huge surge that happens 3 hours before i usually sleeo, i always eat one huge meal then. Is this bad for protein absorption when building muscles or is that bro science?

how would it inhibt nutrient absorption in any way?
