Does intramuscular injection pain get better?

I've been injecting peptides subq for months, and I never had any problems, but recently I've been injecting test e intramuscularly into my thighs every 3 days (2 times so far), and the injection pain isn't that bad, but the days after are pretty brutal. I'm wondering if the pain gets better from anyone who has injected intramuscularly before.
