Parents are fine with me doing filler as long as I get it done by a pro
Larped going to a clinic, went out of the house the next morning and came back with the results
^^since you said the swelling take 3-7 days to fade away , how did you "manage" your parents reactions?
did you told them or did they see something was different on your face?
YesWould you recommend any filler for nasolabial folds that are caused by a lack of maxillary projection?
Yes, but once you notice signs of it spreading/migrating, you can get it dissolved and be perfectly fine. Not an issue you should worry too much about unless you're getting tons of superficial fillerDoes hyaluronic acid filler spread over time and make your face look swollen?
as in pyriform filler or the fold itself?
Both are good, but in the fold itself looks better (obviously). Just dissolve once you find signs of migration and you'll be fineas in pyriform filler or the fold itself?
ik pyriform is a high risk area but the filler in the fold itself wouldnt be bone deep meaning higher risk of migration
I feel like filling just the folds would look like the classic pufferfish filler faceBoth are good, but in the fold itself looks better (obviously). Just dissolve once you find signs of migration and you'll be fine
test on meNeed this, I might, just need a lot more experience first

This post is not a guide or tutorial, nor is it meant to encourage anyone to attempt the same procedure. I’m simply sharing my personal experience for informational purposes only. I was fully aware of the risks involved when I decided to do this myself. I am not responsible for any harm, complications, or outcomes that may occur if someone chooses to replicate or act on what I’ve done.
1. Pre-injection planning
Before I did this, I already had experience doing my own chin filler, I did 2.0ml of revolax deep, but later regretted choosing revolax deep as it’s not a high-g filler & the sharpness of my results faded quickly.
Members like @Veridic have used it in the past and say it works well, so to each their own, do your own research on brands before buying, don't just blindly trust me or any other user.
Big thanks to @lebesgue for recommending Medeyra Shape (source link)
My jaw is both too narrow & too downgrown, this was caused by shit habits growing up but oh well, not much else I can do at this stage of my life.
My goal for this project was simply a wider jaw, once you’re actually hands-on, you’ll realize it’s very difficult to navigate around your jaw with a syringe accurately as a beginner, meaning I gave up on the hopes of getting a better gonial angle (maybe once I get better at it)
2. Risk-prevention measures
Your gonions are a low risk area to inject, there's no major arteries running through there, and realistically worst case scenario you just inject your muscle (fine, just not ideal). Aspirating isn't neccesary for this region, but if it helps you feel more comfortable, feel free to do so.
(the real worst case scenario is injecting near/in an artery, but you realistically won't do this)
I have hyaluronidase (dissolver) on standby if I do end up, for whatever reason, injecting in/too close to an artery on accident. My injection was done at midnight on a Sunday, I couldn’t let my parents find out so I gave myself time to inject, then stayed up all night, by the time I got tired I could tell if I did anything wrong or not (Signs of a Vascular Occlusion are instant or take a few hours)
3. Injection Site
Filler migration happens mainly due to the filler being placed in a superficial region with lots of movement, since you chew daily, injecting in your masseter will increase the chance of migration.
If you’re intelligent about filler you’ll get it dissolved once you notice signs of migration, or even get it fully dissolved before your next session.

This graphic generally applies to everybody, there will be nuance depending on the person, but your facial artery will always come from under your jaw (see the transparent part of the red vein)
This means that your ramus has no artery near the injection site, for safety (or if you just want to draw on yourself) you can locate the artery yourself:
Place a finger on the middle of your jaw, and move that finger around until you feel something with a pulse, that’s your facial artery. Now attempt to trace it as far as you can, and draw a line where you traced it. You can use this line as a visual for where the artery you need to avoid is.
Locating this artery is only needed if you're using a cannula and going along your mandibular plane. If you're interested in doing this, feel free to DM me about a result catered towards you.
Placement wise, we’re going to try and replicate the look of outward gonions
View attachment 4815472
You’ll want to place the filler at the lower end of your ramus; in the corner of your jaw, to replicate the flared effect. Inject the filler bone-deep.
4. Step-by-step
If you want a guide to more specific results catered towards you, feel free to send me a private message. [ Conversation, not chat ]
1. Disinfect your environment and the injection site with alcohol wipes
2. Once your area is sterile, prepare your syringes, get a vial of hyaluronidase & some saline next to you.
3. Remove the cap from your syringe, and add the needle that comes with the package. Medeyra Shape comes with a cannula, which would only be used for more complicated & precise results. Figuring out how to use a cannula as a beginner is difficult.
4. Hold the bottom of your jaw, so that you can clearly see where your mandible & what your neck is.
5. Enter the injection point, if you're having trouble pushing the filler out of the syringe, it means you're pressing against the bone too hard, bring the syringe a couple mm out, and try pushing again.
You can use any of these points, make sure you're on bone, and not going past it.
View attachment 4828337
6. Aspirate, hold the syringe in your injection point for 10-12 seconds and pull back on the syringe a little bit. If blood enters the syringe, change injection spots. There's no major arteries in the injection points depicted, so realistically you'll be fine without aspirating, but it is still a habit you should get into if you're planning on doing your own filler
7A. If blood enters the syringe, remove the needle, and try changing your injection spot by a few mm to get away from the region you drew blood in. Start again from step 6 with your new injection spot.
7B. If blood does not enter the syringe, you can now start injecting the filler, I would suggest doing 0.3-0.5 at a time, then checking on what it looks like in the mirror. Keep in mind you'll be swollen, so your results will be exaggerated, you can assume 20-30% of the results you see in the mirror once you're done will fade by the time your swelling is gone.
8. You're done injecting now. Look out for discoloration or unusual pain, these are both signs of a vascular occlusion in the making, if you leave a vascular occlusion untreated it can give you necrosis around the injection spot (Looksmin). If you notice any signs of a vascular occlusion, reconstitute your vial of hyaluronidase with the saline, and use 15-25 units per 0.1 mL of filler. (If you have 0.5ml in your jaw and notice signs, inject 75-125 units of hyaluronidase, try and inject it in the same area you injected the filler in, but you don't need to be perfect.
5. Injection Process [ VIDEOS ]
I did multiple rounds of small amounts (0.1-0.2 at a time) and stopped when I started to look uncanny,
I didn't manage to record literally every single round, but here's a few snippets.
I did some more in a discord call with @unon & @ ruby (ruby on .com, not here). But looked so disgusting in those clips that I chose not to include them.
Your visibility won't be amazing since you're injecting the corner of your jaw, so it's difficult to be accurate & symmetrical, get yourself a few mirrors reflecting off of eachother at an angle where you can see it, I didn't do this since I didn't have multiple portable mirrors, but it would've helped a lot.
6. Healing Process & Results
Avoid movement in the region you injected, in this case your gonions. Talking, chewing, or anything that opens & closes your jaw is movement, and can cause your filler to settle worse.

Unswolen results after 1.0ml. In my original success thread I said I did 0.8 (0.3 + 0.5) but I was unhappy with the symmetry of my results, and went with another 0.2 to balance it out.

I consulted someone in london who specifically does mainly Male filler, dude has good results but the volume used is insane for the results to look kinda mediocre? I mean he does always insist on his tt that it should always look natural, however i feel like he is making it too subtle. Is this a red flag i should look out for? or is it good. (some of his results do look quite good, but ngl i wouldve thought 12ml would have caused bigger changes, might just be me being delusional)Both are good, but in the fold itself looks better (obviously). Just dissolve once you find signs of migration and you'll be fine
12ml is a lot, mediocre results are a red flag, find some clients that did something similar to what you want, then ask him for that. Also another note on migration, Im planning on getting either his 4-6ml package or 10-12ml package (most likely the 10-12ml) in the summer (unless i have surgery for my eyes then) because im still not fucking lean since im a retard and i have exams in the next 2-3 months so i had to pause the cut (at 20% BF rn) still gonna be cutting but slower, wayy slower but should be 15% by then. But since its higher amounts of filler, should i be dissolving every 12-18 months? Ik some people on reddit and tt ive seen get filler over the years and got maybe to i think the highest ive seen was 20-25ml in the face total through their journey, and they never got it dissolved. I should've asked that question when i was talking to him, fuck but it is what it is.
6ML package costs £1250 ($1,650)
12ML package costs £2500 ($3,300)
Alright prices ngl, but 12ml does seem crazy. However i already know i need some in my jaw, chin and cheekbones. Mainly for my negative vector, recessed chin and increasing my ramus length. Edit: forgot to include but probably 0.5ml on each tear trough too. Main issue is chin and cheekbones but jaw width seems fine, i mean i wont be able to tell until im lean but it does seem relatively wide throughout my cut from 35% bf to 20%
I like it, but it might make your chin project too muchAlso what are your thoughts on filler in the nose? I was planning on getting some in the nose aswell mainly to augment the nose bridge and over all nose since ik people do that with "non-surgical rhinoplasty" (which ofc is just filler), So kinda like an ethnic rhino since i need augmenting there.
CheersGood thread btw and results, glad it went well.
Can i PM some of his results to you? TBH it might just be me expecting too much ngl.12ml is a lot, mediocre results are a red flag, find some clients that did something similar to what you want, then ask him for that.
Realistically as long as its injected sub periosteally then you'll be fine migration-wise.

great results man. I plan to use filler for the gonions and a little to match on the mandibular body. It seems that most of the people injecting the filler don't know much about the location and depth to achieve a true aesthetic benefit as well as what areas have the highest migration odds. Can you build a map of where to inject for the full jaw so we can show our injectors? I believe it should be pretty similar for most people as we are all using filler for angularity not creating a new ramus, if you need to build vertical height filler is shit. Also,do you like Volux or Radiesse more?

5. Healing process & results

Worth the riskIf I do inject my infras with filler I'm not releasing a guide on it, you can go blind in literal minutes by messing up.
Not when I could get it done professionally for a couple hundred bucks and not risk blindnessWorth the risk
I mean if u have the funds to get it professionally and not fuck ur self by going blind then why not?, if u do it ur self i would do research first on where to inject itNot when I could get it done professionally for a couple hundred bucks and not risk blindness
I'll probably still DIY anyways
If I go blind I'll just kill myself or something

Unswolen results after 1.0ml. In my original success thread I said I did 0.8 (0.3 + 0.5) but I was unhappy with the symmetry of my results, and went with another 0.2 to balance it out.
