Didn't know about mewing until a few months ago, since then I've been pretty inconsistent with it but trying to mew while I'm not wearing the Invisalign.

Get a maxillary skeletal expander!!! They're 10 times better and it doesn't just treat your palate but widens your cheekbones!

This is pretty stupid, if the point is to straighten teeth which it almost always is with invisilign they might shrink your palate or keep it the same if you have spacing or light crowding, but it can be used to widen your palate as well. Its a custom treatment, you wouldn't say "braces got rid of my dental crowding so don't get them if you have spacing, it will get worse" Unfortunately with invisilign they will probably just widen it enough to be considered "normal" which means "subhuman" in non orthodontic terms, or just enough to get rid of crowding, or it might be too slow for skeletal expansion.

I've heard of orthodontists just training people to keep their tongue in their lower palate when their upper one was too narrow, jesus I hate those fuckers

Yes bro look it up. Tons of lookism thread on it too.
Basically it widens the top of your palate more which is more important. A palate expander can even give you an overly big smile if you already have lots of teeth showing tbh

Yea I saw that but most of the results (jaw specifically) don’t look any different in the after pictures

It’s better to get straighten your teeth and get custom jaw implants
