When you are recessed and you bite down, your mandible slides back to it's natural position making your lower third look smaller.

Yes bro. Jutting is fine it will even becomd a habit i got chin fillers to fox this issue but now i just look hella robust and i love it

Jutting would indicate that you're forcefully/wilfully/consciously doing something with your jaw: jutting it down, or jutting it forward etc.

At rest position, I also keep my teeth slightly apart, and lips closed. It's the natural position of my teeth/jaw, and it's subconscious. I don't consider it jutting, but I'm not sure if I have SFS or not.
