I do think time is most likely infinite, the only thing that seems weird to me about that, is that everything happens, there would be an alternate reality for every single imaginable outcome, that just seems so weird to me

That's one possibility, but I'm not talking about alternate realities. I'm talking about infinity. Given enough time (In this case, infinity) the same events will occur over and over again infinitely. In other words, we've had this very same conversation before sometime in the past, and we'll have this same conversation again in the future
