Theoretically could work but not as a one time thing. You need a high level of potassium to sodium ratio(roughly 1:1). So unless you’re consuming only 500mG of sodium daily, which isn’t recommended by the way, you’re not going to get much from it. I personally high dose on potassium gluconate supplements when I really need that extra push but it’s important to not take too much potassium supplements because it can have an affect on your heart rate.
