Does lens distortion affect real life?

I have an overly compact face
And I’ve noticed when I look in the mirror <1m away or when I look at my phone screen (when it’s off so just the reflection) my face looks narrower and therefore better

I know since our eyes map a 3d image to 2d, it has lens distortion, but would it be significant enough at those distances to make a difference.
If not how would you explain me looking better at lesser distances to a reflection

If your worrying about lens distortion it is already over. If your truly good looking no lens distortion will effect you so bad to the point you look really bad

Me in the mirror and me in front cam mogs my back cam to oblivion
Might be my hair though cuz when you can see it from the front it makes my face look wider
Gonna buzz soon and decide if it’s over or not

I understand man but the end results are all that matter, softmaxx to your max potential and get surgery. Unless you build a social following nobody cares or will know about the end result they just care about what they see in the moment.

Cams get rid of some detail though
Which mattters a lot when you’re face is as compact as mine so definition matters a lot

Either way I don’t think I’ll look too bad once I buzz and lose fat
