Does looks matter for making friends?

I am 100% convinced I cannot make friends because I am a short ugly asian, but everyone around me says that looks dont matter for making friends.

Height is def not the issue there was this short Arab kid at my old high school and this guy was friends with like half the school

Yeah but youre doing the thing where youre naming one exception. I legit look like the most stereotypical asian nerd in a high school movie, impossible to make friends i already gave up on everything

id say for making friends height matters less than in dating but you still need a good enough face
