someone claimed st like this on this forums and it honestly makes kinda sense

it's almost like revealing your zygos helps the eyes to navigate the inner parts of your face while you can only judge the contours of bloated faces.

while recording myself it also seems like certain lighting makes me appear less deformed and harmonious.

cope or truth?

my zygos are pretty symmetrical tbh, but my mandible isn't and the fat kinda accumulates unevenly down there
uhh yeh it's gonna be even more apparent
 
I think it makes asymmetries more apparent. However, lower bodyfat itself might make you more attractive and that could compensate for a bit more asymmetrical look.

lost weight and saw my hollow cheeks
one side is literally a centimeter longer than the other. its so over

i gained some weight during the covid and it actually makes my face more symmetrical. i wish i could put more fat into my face

No, definitely makes them way more apparent, that's not to say you won't still look better lean than bloated in all cases.
