I have a recessed maxilla and will likely be dissolving the fat in the nose to make it smaller + hydrocortisone. Will this make the maxilla look even more recessed or will it maybe even help alleviate it? Thanks

no making it bigger does.

because that's what paranasal implants tend to do.

Omg propeller hat orc!
No buy seriously, shouldn't a bigger nose take away from the maxilla? I have a slightly below average size nose, with a bolbous tip. I want to use fat dissolves on the tip only. My understanding is that the contrast creates an illusion of a less recessed maxilla.

it's the dent around the mouth that creates the appearance of recession, implants fix this, but you have to make sure it's actual recession and not fat folding around the area.

implants push the tip of the nose up so this makes it look bigger.

So making it bigger makes it more noticeable?
The maxillary recession I mean

it doesn't have much to do with the nose itself it's mostly the area around it.

but yeah in theory if nose is bigger the underlying structure is likely bigger which makes it less prone to recession, but that's only the bone.

I believe this is true, bigger your nose the worse your face overall will look due to recessed maxilla. Lot of people with recessed maxilla get away with it due to small nose.

okie doke!
