I’ve got a theory that the reason people lose hair and lose fat pads in the upper face (inlcuding the scalp) as you age is from blood flow getting restricted to the upper face and scalp over time.

My theory is minox brings back that blood flow for adipose tissue to reginerate.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5877552/

Also in this study they talk about adipose derived stemcels. Maybe someone who’s more science savvy can go over it

If my theory’s correct then minoxidil could make facial fillers useless. You could theoretically put minox on your upper face(upper eyelids temples cheeks/mid face etc all the all places you lose volume over time) and restore that fat pad

To even go more in-depth with my theory

We know lack of blood flow brings DHT to that area.

We know DHT burns fat.

So it would make since that all these areas in the upper face (including the top of the scalp) slowly start to lose blood flow, which in turns brings DHT to that area, which in turns burns the fat from the upper face and scalp

Maybe from gravity or something else

Another thing:

Take a look at most dudes who are balding that’s are 25+. They all have 0 fat pads in the upper face. Huge upper eyelid exposure, nasolfolds you name it.

Now look at most dudes who have norwood 0 that are 25+ and they mostly have there fat pads in tact

Two brothers: one balding one not

Balding brother:

3ECC4E2E BD76 4A7D 83CD 12B3815AF2B2

has lost all his upper facial fat, has lost all his upper eyelid fat giving him huge upper eyelid exposure, lost all lip fat, lost all forhead fat lost all mid face and cheek fat etc making his skin sag

Now look at his other norwood 0 brother(left):

E5D86A37 4BBE 4022 B46A 0DFA2A2D63F1

Didn’t loose any fat pads, great lip volume, hooded eyes from keeping his eyelid fat, great mid face volume, has all fat pads in tact

In fact your theory makes a lot of sense, it correlates with a fact about smoking. Did you know that smoking restricts oral blood flow, which can cause hollow cheeks over time. It is one of the reasons why smokers have sunken cheeks. (No idiots, don't start smoking to get sunken cheeks please, lose weight like shit but don't smoke, the cons are worse and you'll look older).

Someone who’s already using minox for eyebrows should start to put minox on there eyelids/right above them and see if there’s an increase in hooding/fat in there and report back

Just be careful with your eyes and make sure you use minox foam, otherwise you will lose collagen, apply dermaroller.
