me personally, ive experienced a gap of 5.5cm->6.2cm without any wrinkles with just mouth stretching

it didnt grown thicker, but i had pretty thick lips so it didnt matter for me, but as far as i can tell, my upper lip got thinner while my lower lip stayed the same
