cuz in order for good to be identified it must exist in relation to that which it is not (evil)

if everything is good how can u say that it is when there’s nothing to compare it against

I think Heat can exist without cold existing.

No we could say evil doesn't exist without commiting ourselve to evil existing because we are qunatifying over the relevant domain and seeing if evil is in it

maybe physically but how can u differentiate between them in ur senses if you’ve only ever known heat? it takes the input of another for u to acknowledge the existence of the first

if everything is A whats the difference between that and nothing being A

how can u know what evil is if everything is good, it would seem like a foreign concept

I mean smth ive tried to imagine recently is total non-existence; the idea that after death there’s literally nothing. and i js can’t wrap my head around it cuz i can only perceive things within my own consciousness and total absence exists outside of that

I was answering you know the existence question to which the answer is no because we're just saying whatever we define as evil doesn't show up.

The other question is harder. Seems very plausible someone who's experienced only good things could abstract to bad things. I can abstract to what it would be like to be disabled. Or what it would be like to be a floating head, even though I have no experience with it.

Yeah well I’d imagine you can abstract to those things because you’re still capable of perceiving them, like yk it’s not something that’s totally foreign to ur perception
