Does oral minoxidil thicken genetically thin/fine hair?

yes, anagen growth phase extension causes the hair to grow stronger, thicker and "healthier''

yes, Minoxidil forces resting follicles into active growth and prolongs the growth phase which in turns thinken hair now give me a rep and solution

All these guys are wrong, as someone who is suffering the same fate, oral minoxidil cant change your genetic code. Im taking it myself. From what i understand about the drug, oral minoxidil only helps your follicles reach their fullest potential, which is determined by your genetics. I wish i was wrong but im probably not

that's what im seeing from my research as well, I am hoping that it will help to some extent due to the fact that my corners have receeded pretty heavily during puberty and this is likely caused by some thinning of the hair, and hopefully the minoxidil can help return some of what I lost.

How's the bloat on oral min like?

split ur pills on oral take half the doses within ATLEAST 7.5 hours difference (preferably 8-12) , helps alot with bloat for me my bloat is non existant (im using Hydrocholorothiazide 25mg) just be careful ur blood pressure can drop even lower since HCTZ lowers it even more so just watch that:owo: (replying to ur bloat on oral min message)

I dont understand exactly what your talking about but im assuming your talking about the thickness of individual hairs. If you used to have thick hair follicles minoxidil can return that, and from what i understand they will continue to until it reaches your “genetic potential”. Whether what you had before was your genetics potential is to be determined,

also about bloating, i was always bloated in the face so i never noticed a difference. I stopped using it for a few days and in my head i saw a difference but it might be placebo, im not even sure how long it takes for bloating effect to wear off after you stop taking it.

Im using it for eyebrows, where are you getting the oral version? Im taking topical orally.

is HCTZ the best diuretic for reducing bloat? I was looking into eplerenone but it has mixed anecdotes for debloating

also do you have to take diuretics daily or is it okay to take them only when going out?

eplerenone is decent but if ur body is already holding water its gonna be worse than hctz at removing said water, so yes hctz is the best diuretic for reducing bloat and imo its safer to use hctz daily than to use it only when going out
