Does palatal expander increase bizygomatic width?

I was put on palatal expanders at 13-14, now my bizygos are too wide at 150mm did I get fucked up by the expanders or was it just genetics?

It doesn't increase at back of the ear but mostly around the side of the eyes, so probably genes
