Does retinoid help?

I want to get rid of blackheads and smile lines and with a simple google search the first thing i got as a result was granactive retinoid 2% for both blackheads and nasolabial folds. Did some minor research and it looks like its just a serum for wrinkles mostly, but im very uneducated on that stuff so maybe someone knows better than me here?

Yes it does, it works well, but dont expect it to eradicate the smile lines, probably alleviates them at best, It will give better pigmentation and better skin.
Make sure you do not overuse as thats the biggest factor of breakouts, use a pea sized amount, and use a hydrating cleanser to lessen the dryness.

Ok thanks, i also saw a comment on a product containing retinoid saying that after applying it at night before bed, in the morning u should use sunscreen

Why would you use sunscreen unless you live in a hot climate? Does it improve collagen and skin elasticity? I mean unless you are already of a darker color or of a medium complexion you wouldn't need to worry about it since a olive or tanned skin texture is great.

Id say im fairly pretty white especially now that its winter and my skin is very easily irritated

Yeah use sunscreen in that case. Do not burn your skin or you will fuck your skin up.
My skin used to be pretty white, but under the high UV rays of the country I lived in I lost it, hyperpigmentation was bad for a little bit then it went away

I've seen people with 2k rep say retarded bs, greys are just too busy spamming the terminology and figuring out that mewing doesnt fucking work to fit in instead of actually posting something useful.

Every time i come back to this site and start posting/replying to threads i get at least 1 message per day by a grey ltn/mtn asking me to rate him
And i promise you, NONE of their accounts are older than 2 weeks

I don't even know what my proper rating is because the forum is split on calling me Lmtn, hmtn or outright lhtn.
Greys just tend to have 0 capability to rate and often rate you ltn if you're not damian kater, just allow 1k min reps to rate, they always know better

Actually nothing else i can think of, acnes what has been fucking my face up for the past few years now, but fortunately its been a lot better the last year or so, only some small pimples with puss every week or something but they either go away after a couple days or i pop them
