How do u know
I don't to a 100% but the natural way of sleeping is on your side, everyone should have one narrower clavicle if it was the case, biology doesn't work on absolute truths, only theories, so don't take anything for granted and try to just see for yourself how stuff works

Also most people that argue that their facial asymmetry is because of sleeping only on one side just have cranial torsion because of trauma during pregnancy, gotta remember that we are super malleable when we are still in the womb so even small stress can cause changes and if it affects your sphenoid you will be gradually developing a more noticeable asymmetry, often finding out while you're a teenager so you may attribute it to how you sleep...
yes side sleeping will DRAMATICALLY narrow your clavicles! it's better to not sleep at all especially in development as your bones are more prone to changing!

Sleeping on your stomach will end up giving you Anterior pelvic tilt, and sleeping on your back can be worse if you're recessed (lots of people nowadays are, and id argue that majority of the forum users also are), because of having a smaller airway you will end up getting less oxygen, so even if your clavicles were narrower by sleeping on your side, its still better than sleeping in any other position

despite what people say in my opinion during early development it is ideal to sleep on side, after you hit puberty or idk around 10-12 you should sleep on your back

Yes you get the most oxygen while sleeping on your side and its crucial for good development
