Does spending time on phone in the dark fuck with your eyesight?

Everywhere I look people seem to be with glasses from being on their phones too much but I haven’t had that type of problem. I spend hours at night on my pc and phone and my eyesight is better than my families and online it says it’s just a hoax and eyesight naturally worsens
