Just title tbh.

I’ve seen a couple of people on here say it does, do we have a verdict?

I was thinking about this very thing yesterday actually. Pretty sure that the opposite would happen because the under eye area also has a muscle which actually helps in squinching. It will get stronger over time just like any other muscles.

I am definitely concerned about the wrinkles that can appear though. Maybe there is a way out there (some cream/lotion) to prevent that, but I don't know it yet.

Nope, it makes the area tighter actually.
Just use a 0.005 Retin-A or something similar if wrinkles concerns you that much, if not, fillers for undereyes is super cheap and results are instant.

It’s a muscle just like any other, probably have to wait a month to see results
