Stress can cause impulsive facial expressions that lead to signs of aging over time

Stress can cause a plethora of unfavorable things, I'd be more worried about stress-induced hair loss

Hot take stress induced hair loss is a myth (mental stress)

Are you trolling right now or are you being real because that is actually somewhat true
No im being deadass, telogen effluvium can only be caused by physical stress and androgenic alopecia can only be caused by androgens, psychological stress will not make you lose your hair.

Makes sense. I've noticed when I'm under prolonged amounts of stress that my hair will just fall out if I scratch my head or something, but it's always thick and healthy hair and I have 0 signs of recession or thinning

By physical stress I mean starvation/chemo/etc, not anxiety or whatever

You sure its not bias bhai? Ive always shedded a lot of hair but when I started norwooding I thought it was more than usual, turns out I was always shedding the same amount its just that my hairline was miniaturizing and it made me think I was shedding more

Honestly it could be. I just recall a few times when I was under extreme stress and paranoia from schizophrenia I'd wake up with hair on my pillow or something like that. What NW stage are you at and what age, I'd like to know for myself since hair loss is very common in my family :feelsbadman:

Stress by itself? Yes but minimally. Your looks generally lower because of the behaviours you develop while in a state of constant stress and not because of the immediate bodily response to stress.
