Does Taking Oral Accutane close Growth plates?

I have started taking Accutane for 3 days already. Taking 2 capsules of 20 mg each daily. One capsule during daytime and one capsule At Night.

I have severe acne and it looks Horrendous and i look "CURSED".

I am 17M. I have grown about 3 cm in last 5 months. I haven't got my Growth spurt and my uncles said they got their height spurt in their 17s/18s.


Will taking "Accutane" orally close my Growth Plates?

It could close them but it's not a 100% guarantee

You aren't going to grow anyway, just because your uncles grew later doesn't mean you will.

cuz i saw this video a few hours back where he said that Accutane can close Growth plates

You aren't going to grow anyway, just because your uncles grew later doesn't mean you will.

i have hope. Cuz i grew 3cm from May to November. Most probably they are not closed.
