talban founded in late 1990s,and refused to give up since then, and taking power after American forces leave Afghanistan in 2021
,they get funding from drug opium trade that grows in Afghan land,and international funding mainly from al qaeda and also gun and equipments and military vehicle and helicopter that american abondned there

i know taliban have mogger pashtun iranid phenotype and they are giga sharia islam maxxed,but their mountain and sand terrain helps them fight battles?
imagine if they were placed in a modern city like Peshawar,will they still be able to build dominance and overthrows Pakistan police and security forces

Yes extremely. The only reason they were even able to resist the US army was because of the terrain.

they use mountain and stones as covers ,and to hide and shoot sniper shots from there
