Side profile is for analyzing your facial features. Nobody is judging your appearance from a side profile, but looking at the side profile is a way to determine how good you’ll look from the front.

Good front + 3/4 + side > good front + good 3/4 + bad side > good front + bad 3/4 + bad side. Ideally you should have everything but there is a lot of examples where ppl have mogger fronts and 3/4's yet avg or bad sides. Irl i mostly saw side moggers with mid/bad front somehow ironically
