Does the subjective or the objective matter?

If you look good with bad ratios, does it really matter measuring the face?
If I were Ian Somerhalder, instead of accepting that I look good,I would be counting my flaws and analizyng myself every second
So, do I trust my brain more, or the ratios? I've seen several people with terrible ratios in the eye area, but they looked fine, until those who analyze everything (like me)come along and say they have a thousand wrong ratios.


But I don't quite understand that, how is it possible that some people look good with bad ratios?
does this mean that if someone looks good, it's already because their ratios are enough, Even if they have many unideal?
like they compensate with other ratios?


Then, is what my subconscious tells me enough?

So, assuming someone has a very bad eye area or a bad lower third, if they look good, is that because it's compensated by other features/ratios?
