does this mean the back third of the tongue is up?

i feel like i can finally get the back third up since i find it hard to breathe when holding my swallow.

to test this i use the tip of my tongue to go as far back as possible. when im holding my swallow it stops at my tongue. when im not it can reach the soft part of the upper palate at the back.

however, the fat under my neck doesnt seem to go up when i am holding my swallow. it does flunctuate initiating the swallow but goes back to normal at the holding phase.

does this 100% mean the posterior third is raised to the roof when i hold my swallow? this may sound stupid but i need confirmation before i can progress.
