i made a post about pregab and someone replied saying this:
I was hooked on this shit from the time I was 14 until I was 16. I took the first pill on an acquaintance's advice, and then things just spiraled. At first, it was actually gabapentin (which has a milder effect). Either way, it drastically alters your state of mind—I mean *drastically*. To put it simply: .Shortly after birth, I was diagnosed with ADHD, and years later, with ASD. Honestly, I barely understand what I’m doing—I don’t understand a damn thing, really. Anyway, after that first pill, I couldn't stop. I felt like I had superpowers. I’d never experienced anything like that before—being able to just walk outside and strike up a conversation with someone. Before that, I’d been living in a state of constant apathy and generally feeling terrible. I got hooked after the very first pill. Within a couple of months, I was popping this crap before class—consistently taking 2-4 pills every other day. I had tons of energy; and the euphoria was intense .I started hitting the gym, competed in local events, and so on. At the same time, though, this shit made me aggressive—especially once I started taking Lyrica. To be honest, it’s like I’ve completely blanked out those two years of my life; everything is really hazy. But I remember clearly is that I completely lost my mind. I started picking fights with random people on the street—literally for no reason—and got pepper-sprayed plenty of times. I fell out with the few people I was actually in touch with; I started carrying a knife and seriously thought about kLLLng someone. Getting hold of Lyrica was easy in my town; the local pharmacy sold it to anyone, no questions asked. Right after finishing school, the thought suddenly hit me that I was losing my mind, so I quit immediately. It was hell for a while, but after a 2 months the craving was gone. Of course, getting back to my old self was hard—that goes without saying. The main problem is that every day I find myself thinking I could have been smarter. It’s as if my head could be clearer—as if I could express my thoughts more accurately, precisely, and understandably, and find the right words. Maybe I’m just stupid? Or maybe that’s just how I am? Like, maybe the pills did this to me because I was already messed up in the head to begin with. Then again, it wasn't the pills that caused all this—it was me, of course. I have alot to say . It’s not worth it, and I won’t explain why; I think you’ve already figured it out. I’ll go even further—I was lucky. I honestly don’t know how it happened, but in a split second, it was as if I suddenly grasped everything that had happened to me, and this crushing weight of sorrow came crashing down on my shoulders. As for the other guys—the ones who kept using—things are really bad for them. They look like normal people, but they haven't been who they used to be for a long time. The only words I can find to describe it are: *total* moral decay.
