Does This Work? [Know How Deepset your Eyes Are]

So i came up with this.

You draw a line from the TOP of your browridge to your nasolabial angle (Line 1), and then another line from your eyes to Line 1. To get the ratio = Line 1/Line2.

Ratio very high, probably over 6 or 7 means protrusive eyes. Low Ratio will make you look like shit.

Few Measurements ~

Chico = 5.44 – 5.55

Barrett = 4.375, lower than Chicos, and his eyes are clearly more deepset.

O'Pry = 4.4, similar to Barretts. Both have deepset eyes.

inaccurate as the length of line 1 is affected by the midface length. downswung maxilla can cause a long line 1 meaning the result of the ratio can be high even though the eyes are very deep set

Not really as everyone has different bones and features meaning there can never be a constant, especially since the line 1 you came up with is arbitrary and is not really related to the setdness of the eye; all ratios measure the proportion of one distance to another related distance (eg. esr is measured with the ipd and the bizygomatic width). I determine eye setdness by eye which is accurate enough. I don't personally think a ratio determining eye setdness is needed

yeah by eye still. If the eyes are fully deep into their socket then the eyes are deep set, if not it can be medium/shallow set
