Does thumb pulling and chin tucks actually work?

ive been told yes and no from like a bunch of people so idk who’s right, someone also told me it only works while in puberty (which I am) so if these methods work tell me pls

thumb pulling isn’t gonna move bone or expand your maxilla in any real way once you’re past early childhood, your facial structure isn’t that malleable, you might get temporary pressure or swelling but no permanent forward growth of the maxilla

chin tucks are different, they actually do something but NOT what people think, they improve posture by aligning your neck and head, which can make your jawline look a bit sharper and less recessed, but they’re not growing your mandible or changing bone structure,
so one is basically useless, the other is legit but only for posture/aesthetics, not bone growth.
