does Thumbpulling make ur palate more narrow

i have heard (if ur sutures are open and all that) that when u Thumbpull it will create a narrow palate Instead of (with lateral Thumbpulling) a wider palate

Will it widen ur Palate if ur sutures arent closed or nah?

look ion even know if it works in the first place but if it somehow does you'd be good by doing it diagonally so you don't risk a narrow palate and you're still getting both forward and sideways growth
