So i have had a tmj (my joint disc is dislocated) for couple of years now and it has caused my right side of jaw recessed and droopiness and asymmetry in my eye on the right side of my face. Also causes quite noticeable swelling on the right side. It happened when my friend jumped on my jaw, so it’s really off the place.
It’s one of my biggest worries now and i have been thinking about going to doctors and getting a splint, maybe flat plane stabilization splint or somelike that. So i need help knowing if it’s worth it or if I’m just wasting money. I think that if it would help it would improve my looks quite a bit. I’m 16m so basically my jaw grows still maybe and it COULD help??! (Mayby it’s just a Ltn coping)
